Developed in India, yoga refers to a lifestyle which incorporates specific physical and mental exercises with a spiritual intent, said Horak. There are many different schools of yoga and Horak teaches Ivengar yoga, which uses props such as ropes, blankets, and blocks and was developed by Indian yogi B.K.S. Invegar in the 20th century.
